I have been removing old, lame, or irrelevant content for my own personal gratification. So if you're looking for something in particular, and not finding it, I probably got sick of it. That or thought it looked dumb and didn't want my name attached to it. The 80% FAQ gets lots of hits, I haven't updated it too recently with new info, but if you know of anything at all, local, federal, or other, that can be added, please feel free to email me and I'll try and get it updated. Please be sure to read the disclaimers attached, and understand them as well.

There are many laws concerning firearms in the U.S., and I doubt any one person knows them all. If you use the info on this site, please do so in a safe, and legal, manner. Click on the contact page for the standard disclaimers, etc.

In particular, the 80% FAQ may be of some interest. This is about as close as many of us can get to building from scratch a firearm. As a hobby it can be rewarding to build a chunk of metal into a working item. A few of the links take you to places where there is more info and parts available.
